Oblique Chopping Block

These boards have become incredibly popular over the last few years. 

Cut from the trunk of a Camphor Laurel, these boards get their oblong shape by cutting on the diagonal for maximum surface area whilst retaining the natural bark edge. Each board shows the growth rings/age of the tree and will retain it's beautiful Camphor smell for years.

Please note: each board is different so sizes are approximate and the boards shown in the pictures are a guide only. We take great pride in our work and only send boards that we are 100% happy with. Each one of our boards are handcrafted to an exceptional quality.

Camphor Laurel timber is most commonly used for chopping boards due to its natural anti-microbial properties. The smell of the timber does not transfer into food prepared or served on the board.
